I attended PMI Westchester's PMP Prep Course (10/2015 - 11/2015) with John Sherlock as the instructor. They were held at Iona College's Hagan School of Business. This was a convenient location with plenty of room and great facilities for the class. The instructor was very familiar with the classroom and facilities which added to the overall flow of the course and the confidence of the participants. John also conveyed a strong command of the subject matter. He was not only very familiar with the material that we covered but also very knowledgeable about the overall process and what to expect when taking the exam. This allowed John to answer questions, and ultimately belay fears, which built the student's confidence lesson by lesson, as we prepared for the exam. The lessons were organized in a logical, easy to follow manner. While a lot of information was conveyed, the onus to do the work was left squarely on the participants. Proper guidance was provided to ensure everyone was following along and keeping up with the lessons while maintaining a level of comprehension that prepared each of us to pass the exam on our first attempt. John creates a safe environment for his students to flourish and with his years of teaching experience, he nurtured each student in a meaningful way. I would recommend John's prep class to any PMP candidate.
